I. Product overview
The Bently 1900/65A is a universal device monitor designed to protect devices used in a variety of applications and industries through continuous monitoring. Designed to be inexpensive, it is the ideal solution for general-purpose machines and processes.

Second, core functions
Sensor input:
Four sensor inputs are available to support 2-wire and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors or proximity sensors.
The sensor input is flexible and can be configured according to specific requirements.
Temperature input:
Four temperature inputs, supporting E, J, K and T thermocouples and 2 – or 3-wire thermal resistors.
Allows users to monitor different types of temperature signals.
Output function:
Six relay outputs that can be programmed to break or close contacts based on user-defined logical conditions such as OK, warning, and alarm status.
Four 4-20 mA loggers can output any variable from any channel through software configuration.
Dedicated buffered output to provide a signal for each sensor input.
Communication and integration:
Support for the Modbus gateway option enables the monitor to provide static variables, status, event lists, time and date information directly to any Modbus client (e.g. DCS, SCADA, PLC, etc.).
Modbus communication is supported via Ethernet and a software-configurable RS232/485 serial port.
Configuration and display:
Users can use the 1900 configuration software to create profiles on a laptop or PC and download the files to the monitor via a built-in Ethernet connection.
Support for optional display/keyboard for viewing channel information or making minor configuration changes.
